Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
• Perform skilled nursing tasks and assist with activities of daily living to maximize patient comfort
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families in an approachable way to support recovery and wellness
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and modeling best practices

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license for New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (recommended or required depending on facility policy)
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Comfortable working on a busy floor and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Education

• Vocational nursing diploma or LPN certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Proficiency with documentation and electronic medical records
• Strong patient assessment and observation skills
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork, empathy, and clear communication with patients and staff
