Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center with professionalism and compassion
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update individualized care plans
• Document patient care and interventions clearly in the electronic health record
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and respectful communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact RN licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited provider
• Comfortable working night (3rd) shift in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach
• Prior RN experience in med-surg, long-term care, or similar settings preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Experience with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in urgent situations
